Vision: Friends and Foes

Vision: Friends and Foes

27th July 2018

(I have been seeing this vision, flash before my eyes repeatedly for weeks ).

I saw a few people hurriedly moving about, supervising and inspecting the traps which they had laid.

I saw a woman in this forest. As was her habit, she prayed as she walked.

These people laying traps knew that the woman would pass that way and they planned to entrap her.

As she walked on, suddenly the lady saw someone stealthily rush towards her. A man swiftly pushed her away from the path she was about to take.

When the woman turned to look, she was surprised to see that the man was someone from her ancient past, whom she had not seen for years.

She was glad to see this person but puzzled as to why he was whispering and  pulling her away from the direction in which she was headed.

“Why why why?” The lady whispered back.

“ Look”, said the man, pointing towards a particular spot on the path to where she had been headed.

The woman was visibly shaken. From a safe distance away she glanced in disbelief at the people and caught a quick glimpse of the traps that they had  laid out specially for her.

The woman was shocked. She sat on the large stone near her, and said,

“ I am shocked, horrified, stunned, shaken, hurt, can’t believe………do you know who they…..”

NEXT

I saw a middle-aged man, who on hearing the urgent knocks rushed to open the back door, “ Haven’t much time, I’m getting ready to leave…..going out to sign that deal of a lifetime,” said the householder as he opened the door.

“ I wouldn’t go out if I were you. The enemy has built siege works on your land. Big walls everywhere”, said the visitor at the door, as he ran away speedily.

Stunned the householder  shut the back door.

Then the man fell on his knees and cried out to God, “ Thank you Lord. You know everything. Please help me understand what’s going on! Guide me.”

After this brief prayer he rose and went into the kitchen. He was surprised to see   an elderly lady standing outside the window. He recognized her immediately.  He  had last seen her when he was a teenager and never since, as  his family had moved from that town.

The elderly lady beckoned to him to open the front door.

“ So glad to see you but please, could you come another day?” said the householder.

” And why?” asked the silver-haired gentlewoman, as she pushed the front door and entered in.

The elderly woman, strode to the window to open the curtains.

“ You know”, said the householder. “ I’ve been told I am under siege, ….”

“ Really?….Who told you that”? asked the lady.

“My friend risked his life to come here and tell me that.  I quickly looked out the window and saw the walls and siege works in the distance. I have prayed and I know that God will send help…………..”.

The lady turned to him and gently pulled him towards the window, and slid a corner of the curtain aside and said to him,

“Look again”.

The man did so reluctantly.

He gazed intently out of the window. In the distance, was a man gleefully leaping and kicking the air, and then running and patting the wall.

The householder was utterly shocked.

When he looked again, he realized that all the walls and obstructions were just cardboard replicas.

“ Is that the man who ‘risked his life ‘ to come warn you of the siege?”

“ Yes, that’s my friend…….Was…..”.

The woman in the forest too was horrified that they who had laid out the snares for her, were friends.

I understood that this was the time when there will be those who to their absolute horror will discover that people they thought were friends were not really so. Such ‘friends’ were by trickery, lies and deceit,  plotting their downfall and failure.

But the plots of their friends- turned- foes would not succeed. And though they would be shocked on discovering the truth about such foes, these prayerful folk, would find that their horror would be turned to  absolute joy because people from an ancient past, people they had not seen since their youth,  re-appeared in their lives when least expected and God used them to be a mighty blessing in their lives.

Psalm 119:94-96

94 I am thine, save me: for I have sought thy precepts.

95 The wicked have waited for me to destroy me: but I will consider thy testimonies.

96 I have seen an end of all perfection: but thy commandment is exceeding broad.

  1. Good Day Swarna!
    Wow!
I really am looking forward to how this vision plays out in the days ahead. There are a few confirmations that I see already in what you saw. Things that have just within the last 2 days occurred! The Lord ‘has our back’ when we pray.

The verses that you shared from Psalm 119 are incredible.
    *Quote:
    Psalm 119:94-96

94 I am thine, save me: for I have sought thy precepts.
95 The wicked have waited for me to destroy me: but I will consider thy
    testimonies.
96 I have seen an end of all perfection: but thy commandment is exceeding broad.
    end quote*

I think there’s something important regarding His “precepts” since even before I saw that you had posted I was drawn to a Spurgeon reading to Ps 119:15 ” I will meditate in thy precepts”

Then when I went to try to find something at Bible Gateway their Verse of the Day is (drum roll)
    Psalm 119:93 KJV:
“I will never forget thy precepts, for with them thou hast quickened me”
(NIV …”for by them, you have preserved my life”)

***The word “PRECEPTS” seems to stand out to me. Especially in the Latin meaning “to instruct”.
    *Definition of Precept:
A commandment, an authoritative rule for action; in the Scriptures generally a divine injunction in which man’s obligation is set forth (Latin praeceptum, from praecipere, “to instruct”).

***Then here is a verse that I would like to add since, at least to me, it relates to the vision:

Psalm 124:6-8 King James Version (KJV)

6 Blessed be the Lord, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth.
7 Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.
8 Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.

BTW – I hope this is the ONLY comment today that you have from me since I have been trying to comment up to 5 times and my iPad kept shutting down and when I got to your page no comment was there It’s a good thing that I am a “Reformed Grumbler” LOL 🙂 Not to say I was not irritated…The Lord IS faithful to test us on what we say isn’t He!

    Love and blessings, Judi

(Note: Since each one of us are supposed to be representative of the whole Body of Christ when I mention “me, myself, or I” in comments, I don’t wish to call attention to myself but say it in the wider sense of every member supplying to each what is needed – so I hope my comments do that 🙂

      Good day Judi!

Praise God you have received a few confirmations.

I like the Latin definition: to instruct.

Thank you for sharing this Scripture.

Blessed be the Lord truly blessed be the Lord
      for His divine interventions.

Thanks again for your encouraging comments Judi.

      Love and blessings

  2. An excellent post of warning – the gift of discerning of spirits is most needed today and so lacking – but spiritual discernment from much study of scripture and prayerful seeking of instruction from the Holy Ghost is also very necessary (AND NOT THE SAME THING AS THE GIFT OF DISCERNING OF SPIRITS AS THE GIFT IS A REVELATORY ONE).

  3. Reblogged this on Gitardood's Weblog and commented:
I’m reposting this from Sister Swarna’s blog because it’s a wake up call for the believers to know who and what they’re dealing with at all times. Those they think are friends and trustworthy may turn out to not be so.
