Vision: The White Ship

Vision: The White Ship

9th February 2014

I saw a ship in the middle of the ocean. It was all white, with not a dirt mark upon it. It was very elegant to look at. This white ship had one large funnel.

I observed that there was not a drop of drinking water in the ship.  I wondered where this ship would get it’s potable water from, as it was in the middle of the ocean, and there was no other sea traffic in sight, nor land in view, nor a lighthouse in the horizon.

The lone ship moved at an unhurried pace.

It was a bright sunny day, with clear blue skies, but suddenly, I witnessed a strange phenomenon.

With rocket-speed, without the sky changing color, out of it emerged a large heavily-laden rain cloud and disappeared down the ship’s single funnel. The skies looked as clear and blue as before the occurrence of this notable spectacle.

The large dark cloud emptied itself into the bowels of the ship.

I then realized that the entire ship was a water tanker, with no room for anything else but storage of water. The dark cloud filled this ship to the full, with rain water.

I saw that though the white ship continued at that same unhurried pace, yet, it speedily arrived at a particular large place where certain special crops grew.  The white ship not only watered them, but also left the land with abundant waters, so that it did not lack.

In this way, this graceful sea craft moved to many such special places where special plants grew, and not only watered them but left behind abundant waters for them.

People heard about this ship carrying rain water, and came to see it. Many mocked the ship, “We don’t need a ship that carries rain water; we are waiting for the real thing, the rain itself, to fall from the sky, not come from the bowels of a ship ……”

With many such words, the people derided the ship. What the mockers did not understand was that this particular rain water was not sent for them; it was only meant to water the special plantings of the Lord, and to be given to those who had humbly asked for it.

I saw that as this ship moved on, from it’s sides emerged other identical white ships.  All these ships went their way watering the special plantings of the Lord. I saw that not all the people who gathered mocked the ships. I observed one man ask a ship for water. A flood of water was instantly poured upon an unoccupied land for him, and as he dwelt there a community gathered around him, and all the people flourished. This happened to all individuals who asked the ship for water. I saw that those who believed that this water was from the Lord, asked for it and received it. I saw that they were given a vast land and water enough to sustain the entire community that would invariably join them, because of it.

I observed that the plantings of the Lord that had received this water bore phenomenally sized flowers and fruits.

I was now shown an aerial view.

All that had received the water from these white ships had such phenomenal growth, that all could see, marvel, and learn from.

Those that had mocked the ships and said they were waiting for rain to fall from the sky, continued to wait. The area that they occupied looked increasingly dry and withered and barren. Not even a blade of grass grew there. The rain they awaited did not come. The drought that came upon them was self-induced.  Whilst all around there was exceptional growth, so obvious was the abject  and arid condition of the mockers, that all could see it and flee from them.
